That’s what I was aiming for, actually. But by Wednesday I was feeling really tired out and headache-y. I’ve perked up a little today, but maybe it is true what they say: it really is the most depressing time of year.
Also, the linguistics community is morning the loss of one of its greats, Peter Ladefoged. I feel very lucky to have met him briefly in October. We didn’t talk for long, but it gave me to opportunity to see why he is so well-respected and liked. He will be missed. There is a very nice and short bio here.
I’ll be back to my usual knitting content Monday. I hope everyone has a cheery weekend, especially if this week has been a hard one for y’all.
I’m sorry for the loss. The articles make him seem like a very passionate, caring man.
