Compulsive Knitter

This is for posterity…

…since who knows when I’ll get to the new Knitty patterns I’m admiring. At the rate I’ve been finishing my projects, that’d be the 10th of never (or however the saying/song goes).

Let’s see…I could really see myself wearing either Viveka (love the sleeves!) or Serrano. And if I were really brave, I’d make Intolerable Cruelty. I mean wowza! I’m pretty well endowed with the ladies and derriere, but I don’t know if I could pull that off…maybe I’m TOO well endowed, if ya know what I mean.

If I could choose one project to knit up in front of the fireplace over Christmas vacation (isn’t it funny that the one fireplace I have is in my apartment in Lousisiana?), it would be Lizard Ridge. So colorful, and so warm and fuzzy looking! I also like all of the socks in this issue, particularly the Cable Net socks. The back to school washcloths look fun too – and are particularly relevant for me!

Ah, so many nice patterns to add to my backlog…

  1. A huge thanks for that one! Since I’ve neglected reading the regular “boards” for blogs, I’m a little out of touch. Thanks to you, I know that the new Knitty is up.
I may be off the mainstream, but the sweaters appeal to me the most. However, I do agree that Lizard Ridge is a keeper.

  2. I really like Serrano!! I can feel my list of must knits growing, too.

(Do you think I can convince my husband that yarn is edible and can therefore be paid for from the grocery budget?)
